1. How do I install equipment on my ship?
Once you have acquired equipment (e.g. missiles), go to the main screen and enter the "ships" tab (lower left of screen), then select the box with the missiles and the list of equipment (missiles) available for installation on the ship will appear at the bottom. This principle can be used for installation of any equipment.
2. What are flags and camouflages for in the game?
Flags and camouflages are only for aesthetic purposes and don't give any advantages to the player in combat.
3. When will you add a country flag that is not currently in the game?
There are 195 countries in the world today, and we did try our hardest to add our players' nations to our best. If we missed one, please raise a suggestion in this server or to official support!
4. What's the difference between "Premium" ship and "Dollar" ship?
Premium ships provide bonuses to earnings: +20% dollar +20% gold You can buy premium ships in the shop at any level. When you reach a certain level, you can access the Market, where you can bid for premium ships using Artcoins.
5. Torpedoes.
- Available on all submarines, some ships, helicopters, aircrafts and assault ships.
- Can be used against all types of ships.
- Torpedoes have the ability to home in on a ship, but the ship can sometimes dodge the torpedo. The exception is the "RF Loon", which cannot be hit by torpedoes.
- Torpedoes have limited ammunition so use them carefully.
6. Cannon.
- In-game artillery pieces range from small-caliber to large-caliber.
- Cannons are one of the main types of weapons, and come with unlimited ammunition.
- Shells tend to ricochet off the hull of the enemy ship when struck at an acute angle.
- Cannons are mounted on all types of warships and also on some aircraft carriers. Installation on submarines is not possible, unless it comes locked with it (ex. Pan Spatial Bermuda)
- Projectiles follow a ballistic trajectory - you will need to adjust your aim based on the distance and motion of the enemy ship. Exceptions are railguns, which fly in an almost straight trajectory and at high velocity.
- The further the enemy is, the greater the prejudice to the moving target.
7. Grenade launcher.
- Grenade launchers are available on many warships and also on some aircraft carriers.
- Due to their spread, they are more effective at close & medium range than at long range.
- Grenade launchers come with various characteristics. Some can lock-on to enemies. Some can target aircrafts. Some can be used to counter torpedoes or even submarines.
- Be sure to read the descriptions carefully to get a better understanding of what you can expect out of them.
- Ammunition is limited for these weapons
8. Missiles.
- Missiles are the main weapon used on most ships.
- They deal the most damage to the enemy, but can be intercepted by enemy air defenses, as well as by "missile decoys".
- Missile ammunition is limited and varies by missile type. As with grenade launchers, some can target torpedoes, some can target aircrafts. Some missiles are even laser-guided (ex. X-51, Hyfly)!
9. Autocannons.
- Autocannons 'automatically' shoot at the nearest enemy unit whenever in range.
- Depending on the type of autocannon, some are dual purpose, some fire missiles, some fire shells.
- Ammunition is unlimited.
10. Air Defense.
- Air defense is a means to counter enemy missiles and aircraft.
- There are various types of air defense: machine-gun, missile, laser, and hybrid.
- Air defense operate against different types of targets (missiles, planes, and helicopters).
- These weapons achieve greatest effectiveness when ships sail in group formations.
- When a ship maneuvers, the effectiveness of air defense is reduced.
11. Helicopter.
- Helicopters protect your ship from missiles, attack the enemy, increase RADAR range, and can locate underwater subs by using SONAR.
- Some helicopters can drop depth charges or torpedoes, while some are specialized in anti-air protection.
- Advanced versions of helicopters also have enhanced survivability and weapons capabilities.
- Available on all surface ships (with the exception of few) in quantities of at least 1. Yes, some helicopters come in spares!
- Helicopters are equipped with cannons which can shoot down enemy aircraft, mainly aiming in manual mode.
- Ammunition for all items on a helicopter is limited, with the exception of cannons. So if a helicopter does not come with cannons, use its ammunition wisely.
12. Strike fighter
- Strike fighters, primarily target ships.
- Equipped with cannons to counter enemy aircrafts, mainly aiming in manual mode.
- Can be easily knocked down by enemy air defenses if within range.
- Available only on aircraft carriers and a handful of special purpose ships.
- Squadrons are limited.
- Strike fighters can be reloaded and repaired by making contact with the recharge cone coming from their launching mother ship.
13. Fighter.
- A type of aircraft designed to fight against enemy aircrafts.
- Can be easily shot down by enemy air defenses if caught in range.
- Fighters are available only on aircraft carriers.
- Number of squadrons is limited.
14. Drone.
- Drones have a higher strike capability and life level than attack aircraft.
- Their primary targets are enemy vessels.
- They can also easily counter enemy air units.
- Their armor plating and ammunition is limited.
- Drones can be reloaded and repaired by making contact with the recharge cone coming from their launching aircraft carrier.
15. Bomber.
- Bombers are the most dangerous aircraft in the game.
- They have low speed but high durability.
- They are launched from "Assault carriers".
- Bombers have a wide range of weapons.
- All types of ships are their primary targets.
- Their armament is limited but they can be reloaded and repaired by making contact with the recharge cone coming from their launching strike carrier.
16. Unmanned Vessels.
- Unmanned vessels are launched from "Assault Landing Ships".
- They come in various types - hovercrafts, speed vessels, or even submarines!
- They can be piloted by players themselves, or automatically fight enemies by the AI.
- As with ships, they carry various weapons but with limited ammunition.
- As with planes, they can recharge their ammunition by returning to the mother ship, and their squadron size is limited.
