This error is related to a connection problem with the game services.
First, please try the following:
- Restart the game.
- Check the stability of your internet connection.
- Restart your router.
- Try a different network.
If you are playing on a mobile device
- Switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi, or vice versa.
- Try a different Wi-Fi network.
- Disable VPN, Proxy, Private DNS, and any apps that filter network traffic.
- In some regions, using a VPN may help.
Important: using a VPN during Discord tournaments is prohibited.
If you are playing on PC
- Restart your PC and router.
- Try connecting through a different network, for example by using a mobile hotspot.
- Disable VPN, Proxy, AdGuard, network filters, and other software that may affect the connection.
- Add Modern Warships and the launcher to the exceptions in Windows Firewall and your antivirus software.
- Run the game or launcher as Administrator.
- If you are using the Steam version, verify the integrity of the game files.
- Try changing your DNS server.
- Clear the game cache:
AppData\Local\Temp\Shooter
Then press Win + R, enter %temp%, and press Enter.
Delete the contents of the opened Temp folder. If Windows does not allow you to delete some files because they are currently in use, simply skip them.
After that, restart your PC and check the game again.
The issue may also be temporary and related to server maintenance or temporary unavailability of some game services. In this case, please try again later.
If the problem persists, please note where exactly the error appears — for example, when logging in, searching for a match, connecting to chat, creating a squad, etc. — and contact Customer Support with the following information:
- Player ID;
- Platform;
- Game version;
- Screenshot of the error.
